Use the Ledger® Live Download page to pick the correct version for Ledger® Live Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) or the Ledger® Live App (iOS/Android). Desktop is required for firmware updates and advanced settings; mobile is convenient for daily checks and Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Common login problems and quick fixes

  1. Device not recognized: unlock device and open the relevant currency app on the device before opening Ledger® Live. Try a different USB cable, USB port, or enable OTG on Android.
  2. Permission or driver errors: on desktop, allow USB permissions when prompted and install the Ledger® driver or bridge if requested.
  3. Bluetooth pairing fails: toggle Bluetooth, restart both phone and Ledger® device, and remove previous pairings.

Account recovery & 2FA guidance

If you cannot access Ledger® Live, recover accounts using your 24-word recovery phrase on a new Ledger® device or supported wallet. Ledger® Live itself does not provide a universal 2FA tied to your recovery phrase; any 2FA on external services must be reset with those providers. Never type your recovery phrase into apps or websites.
